ABOUT COMPANY SECRETARY COURSE

Career as a Company Secretary is not only prestigious and finally rewarded but also carries with it high level of job satisfaction. The post of company secretary is considered as respectable one in the hierarchy and this one of the most important post a person handles.
This is because in this position, one act as mediator between the company and its Board of Directors Government, shareholder and regulatory authorities. The job of Company secretary is to ensure that the board procedures are strictly followed and regularly revised. Company Secretary is the conscience seeker of a company. He or she Guides the chairman and Directors on how to make the best use of their responsibilities under various law
For registration and eligibility for CS Course

AFTER 10+2

The Student who would like to join the course after 10+2 has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries course i.e.

  • Foundation Programme
  • Executive Programme
  • Professional Programme

In addition, the student has to undergo Practical Training for about 15 months which a student may opt to start after passing the executive programme

AFTER GRADUATION

The student who would like to join the course after passing the Graduation has to undergo two stages of

  • Company Secretary ship i.e.
  • Executive Programme
  • Professional Programme

Besides, the student has to undergo Practical Training for about 15 months

TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION TO CS COURSE AND SUBMISSION OF FILLED-IN APPLICATION

Admission to the CS Course is throughout the year
CS Prospectus can be obtained from any of the offices of the Institute across India.

  • Cost of Prospectus for Foundation Programme Rs. 200/- by cash payment while Rs. 250/- by Post or Courier.
  • Cost of Prospectus for the Executive Programme: Rs. 300/- by cash payment Rs. 350 by post or courier.

CUT OF DATES TO CS ADMISSION

For Foundation Programme: 31st march for appearing in December Examination in same year

For Executive Programme

  • 30th September for December Exams in the same year.
  • 28th February for December Exams in the same Year.
  • 31st August for June Exam next year.
Registration Fee Rs. 3600/-
Fee for Foundation Programme Rs. 7000/- for Commerce student
Fee for Executive Programme Rs. 7750/- for Non Commerce Students

THE QUALIFYING MARKS

The Qualifying marks is at least 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate of all subjects

EXAM DATES

Examinations are held twice a year in June and December. After Qualifying Professional Examination and on successful completion of training a candidate is admitted as an Associate Member of ICSI and can use letters ACS after his/her name i.e. Associate Company Secretary.
